THORNABY V JARROW 

Jarrow visited Teesdale park Thornaby for their final league game of the season 
Both sides found it difficult in very warm conditions and neither goalkeeper were troubled in the early stages , Sam Attewell was playing up front and was well marsalled by Michael James and James Rowe . Kallum Hannah had a header on to the bar which was then saved by Jak Wells after 25 mins , and Jordan mellish had an good header just wide of Oliver Simpson in the home goal from a corner by Graham .

The second half started much the same as the first with Thornaby going forward but not creating clear cut chances on 70 mins Darren Morton replaced Mick Watson

A chest down in the box by Darren Morton lead to Kris Allen having a shot saved by Simpson ,and on 74 mins an close range shot by Jordan Wilson beat Wells for the opening goal 1-0 to the home side . Jordan Mellish was booked for an late tackle after 75 mins and with five minutes remaining an far post header by the busy Lewis Murphy sealed the points for the home side 2-0 . Taylor Crainey was booked for an foul in an scrappy end and Liam Simpson Mcgill followed into referee Cain notebook 
With minutes left another foul by Taylor Crainey in midfield led to an second yellow card and sending off by referee Cain in an game that the home side grabbed the points . The end of an long first season for Jarrow in the Northern league who will be mid table which is excellent , Thornaby having fell away in recent games from their promotion ambitions
